"Absolutely wonderful!!!!"

- David Cash, Nicolosi & Co.

A performer from a young age, Simona used to stage shows in the back garden with her sisters and brother as her ‘cast’, her dolls as the ‘extras’ and her parents as the audience! Dancing to The Beatles and The Stones from the age of three (her father being a specialist Hi-fi designer in the UK) music was always prominent in her life, professional singing and acting followed. Not much has changed with regard to ‘directing the family’ (the sisters still sing together) but with fortune and hard work, her career has moved forward a little.

After landing a scholarship to the Bush Davies College of Dance, East Grinstead and then gaining a Diploma in Theatre Arts from Laine Theatre Arts, her career continued at a fast pace when at her first audition after college Simona landed a role in ‘Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat,’ at The London Palladium. Working with Philip Schofield and Jason Donovan at the age of 20 in London’s West End was an unforgettable experience. More roles in plays and musicals in London followed but her career took a turn when pop music beckoned and Simona joined the band ‘Wildflowers.”

When Mega Records offered a record deal to the band ‘Wildflowers’ it seemed the record career and years of songwriting had begun to pay off. Published as a songwriter by Peer Music, London, songwriting allowed her to see her own writing come to life and many happy hours in the studio and live gigs followed with the band.

When ‘Wildflowers’ disbanded and theatre beckoned again, Simona returned to London’s West End this time to play leading roles in a successful run of “The Rocky Horror Show ”at The Victoria Palace playing the lead Janet, opposite Jason Donovan. Then with an album’s worth of songs, she decided to head to New York to immerse in the music and film scene there. Writing with a group of established songwriters in New York and New Jersey gave Simona a great insight to the music production scene in Manhattan, New York.

Acting in new plays in Soho, New York, and TV commercials nationally in the States, the acting work culminated in her receiving best actress award in LA for her work in film. The life adventure continued back in the UK with the birth of first child -her daughter- Emilia.

The love of creativity continues and ‘Our Nation Has Saints’ her latest release, was written for all the NHS and care workers- proceeds will be donated to the NHS and carers foundation.
