Music fascinates me

I have been writing my own songs for over 25 years.

 

In 2006 Triniti (Irish girl group) had a hit in Ireland with a song I wrote and sang - ‘Rose on Water.’ It went to No. 1 in the Irish classical charts.

 

The original features Jeff Beck on guitar and was re-released in 2021 on the album Jubilee Bridge by Simona Morecroft.  It can be found on Spotify, You Tube and the website.

Jubilee Bridge

The album is a collaboration of working with some fantastic writers and musicians in London and New York over the last 20 years. Jubilee Bridge is a small bridge in the village Ayton where I grew up in Scotland, the reason the music has a celtic feel in places. It is, for me one of the best places in the world.

'Our Nation has Saints' was written in honour of the fantastic work and sacrifices being made by the NHS and our carers in the United Kingdom. The single was played on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire and the proceeds of the sales go to the NHS.
